Lena likes playing in the dirt with human bones. It makes perfect sense that this globe trotting archeologist fell in love with the Kalinga tribe of northern Luzon in the Philippines.
This is my minimal interpretation, inspired by their beautiful tattoo designs.

Sébastien’s head piece, (only) he sat like a trooper for this intense one.
Becky sat for a hardcore two days straight for this piece, 11 hours total.
No cover-up involved, just a fresh clean arm to blacken, and yes, the whole inside is black too.

Just tattooed a little dotwork bee on Melissa Chou, a genius pastry chef here in SF!
It was her first tattoo and my first small piece in a long time. It really is rewarding to start and finish a piece on the same day!
